  • Why buy from our archery web shop?
    In our online shop, we offer a wide variety of products (bows and components) for use in all styles of archery: Compound, Traditional and even crossbows. Even when remote buying, we aim to offer you the best service you can get.
  • Can I buy a Prairie Archery Gift card online?
    At this time, online gift cards are not available on-line. However, you may purchase gift cards in our store, but these gift cards are not redeemable online.
  • How do I go about canceling my order?
    If you plan to cancel your order, please call 218-338-6030. Please call within 1 hour, as orders tend to be processed right away.
  • How long does it take for my package to arrive to my house?
    Most packages take 2 to 4 business days before leaving the warehouse. Ship time will take anywhere from 2-7 days. Please give a total time frame of 4-11 days.
  • How old do you have to be to buy a bow?
    Minnesota does not have a law in place limiting anyone from purchasing a bow or arrows. If you do not live in MN please check with your state laws.

  • Is there a minimum age requirement to use a bow and arrow?
    Prairie Archery does not have an age limit as archery can be practiced by almost anyone.
  • What type of bows can I rent?
    Prairie Archery has Genesis Bow by Mathews available in right-handed and left-handed.
  • Will wearing glasses affect my ability to use a bow and arrow?
    No. Many people with glasses actively participate in archery every day.
  • Do you have different target patterns to choose from? If yes, am I able to choose?
    Prairie Archery carries only 5 spot paper targets that are free to use when renting a range lane. We do have a variety of targets for sale in the retail store if wanting something other than 5 spot. Guests are free to bring in their own targets, however we mandate they be only paper and do not resemble any person or silhouette.
  • What is your longest target distance?
    We offers 20-yard distances indoors.
  • What comes with a new compound bow purchase?
    FREE Set-up: Install Accessories Set Draw Length and Poundage. Added BONUS if purchased in-store: Paper Tune (*Customer shooting bow) Card to redeem for a free basic check-up once per year for the next 2 years, with conditions.
