Beginning archery classes are intended for ages 9-90+ with little or no experience shooting bows. Shooting "Toy store" equipment typically but not always found in YMCA, Boy Scouts, etc. with unqualified instructors is generally considered as no experience. We shoot Mathews Genesis target bows with Easton 1820 arrows. This is the equipment used across the country in the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP). Class content includes equipment nomenclature, safety rules, range rules, conduct and the shot sequence.
All bows and arrows and targets are provided. Participants need only show up ready to receive training and ready to enjoy different shooting games.
